Greetings and Welcome to my little place on the web.  Let me begin by saying Thank you for taking time out of your
busy lives to come and view my web page.  It's a privilege. and honor to show you my work

I am a self taught  artist with the ability to work with different mediums.
I will paint on any surface you wish to have a picture on.
I have painted on rock and furniture, indoor, outdoor, you name it I'll paint it.
I have used Airbrush, pastel, charcoal, pencil, oil, acrylic, and Enamel.

I currently live in Okotoks, Alberta, which is about 10 minutes out of  Calgary, Alberta.  I grew up in a small mining
town Snow Lake Manitoba,  with very little to do I use to draw and sketch a lot.  I became quite good and always
wanted to try my hand at painting.  My husband Terry and I bought our first house, with white walls looking more and
more like a canvas, I set out with my imagination and let loose,  I have always loved art and thought art should be
LARGE, and Grand. something you could really go up a to and walk into. As the saying goes, "the rest is history".

Without further ado........................Welcome to my Dreams!!!!

Residential

Zachery's Room
This room was designed for a young boy.  The city sky line is painted with black board chalk paint so he can draw
on the walls. At night these walls come alive with the windows and the stars glow in the dark.  Spiderman is seen leaping
from the stars.  As any little boy Zachman loves cars so he asked to have one in his room also.

Jesse's Room
Jesse loves dragons, and I wanted a room he would grow into.  On one side of the room I have 3 windows overlooking a
castle in the sky and mountains, with a very friendly female dragon looking in.  The castle walls crumples away to reveal
a lagoon with a waterfall and tree that continues on the ceiling with a male dragon

Jungle Room
This Room was done for a baby.  It has a mom and Dad Giraffe looking into where the
crib will go.  Monkeys are seen swinging and hanging from trees and vines. A mother elephant and baby are looking on.  Colorful parrots, butterflies and  dragonflies
are flying around.  A special thank you goes out to Amy and Troy for giving me
the opportunity to paint this for the up coming arrival of their bundle of joy.

Santa Crew Mural

First mural in our house, could not contain myself any longer, my kids have been asking for a mural since we moved here.
This mural was done for my boy's and their best friends are in there also (my second children you could say)
The kids absolutely love it

Hallway
This hallway was in desperate need of something.  The owner of the house love's Thomas Kinkade  so we blew
up her favorite artist picture.

Bathroom
Welcome to the underwater caves.  This bathroom was designed for 3 young boys who love the water.  They let me know
what sharks, fish they wanted. I decided to have an underwater cave theme going .  This was a very fun room to do.

Kitchen
Faux kitchen tiles were added to this kitchen to give the room a punch.  This was textured also it give the feel
of real tile.  The mural in this room  is of a formal garden with a water feature in the pond, and a marble gazebo.

This Kitchen was done in an Italian theme, with a blackboard to help keep notes and recipes

Miscellaneous
These are Large toy boxes, painted for boys, Yu-Gi-Oh and Cars.  I can paint on any size canvas, whatever
picture you desire.  You can also increase the size of an existing picture and make it more pronounced on the wall.
This picture was increased to take up the entire wall.  It is textured and all the paint of the entire house are blended
to create this look.  Have an ugly wall you just want to spruce up a bit, I can do that too.

If it is color you want, or a certain look you want.  Or just a unique portrait, or picture.  I'll paint your vision.

Chalkboards
As we all know kids love to draw mostly on the walls, so why not give them a place to do just that.!!

These Blackboards are from floor to ceiling, Airbrushed to give a graffiti feeling in the kids rooms.

This picture was donated to The Blackfalds Fire Department as a door prize for the annual Christmas Ball.

Angel at my Back
The Thin Red Line of Courage

As firefighters are periled, they place their lives second to those they protect.
They are forced to face their own fears and grasp for every ounce of courage to
Perform the necessary task. “ The Thin Red Line of Courage” represents the last
ounce of courage firefighters find deep in their blood to conquer their darkest
fears in order to save and protect life and property.
It is displayed to show respect for the firefighters injured and killed in the line of duty.

If you have any Charitable cause and would like a donation contact myself and I can discuss what would suit your needs.

The Edmonton Queen Riverboat

This was both a privilege and honor to be asked to paint on the Edmonton Queen Riverboat.  A very special
Thank  You goes out to Lesser Slave Lake Indian Regional Council & Management of  The Edmonton Queen Riverboat  for the wonderful opportunity.
This is a picture of  The Edmonton Queen cruising down the river and the Edmonton sky line.

When this mural was completed I was featured in The Spruce Grove Examiner, and Stony Plain Reporter newspapers.
A special Thank You to Olav Rockne for taking time to come and interview me on the Edmonton Queen.

I had the privilege and honor of getting my picture taken with Denis Flanagan.
Denis Flanagan
Horticultural Consultants Inc.
Horticulturist Denis Flanagan has been in the landscaping industry for more than 20 years.
(He estimates that he’s designed over a thousand gardens to date!) As the host of HGTV’s "The Indoor Gardener",
Denis dishes the dirt on how to care for your plants all year long.
When Denis isn’t busy making television and media appearances,
and writing gardening articles for "the Condo Guide" magazine, he runs his own landscaping company.
And he will now have two series running on HGTV.
The Indoor Gardener is in its 3rd season and One Garden, Two Looks, will launch on June 27, 2002.

This painting was done of the Old City of Edmonton Riverboat.
I did it in black and white to give an aged look.

Before

After

This Mural is of the Captains favorite view of the river valley.  Everything on this entire wall is painted.
It's painted to give the illusion of driving the boat.  The inspiration was the wheel.
It was suggested that this painting should be called "When the waters low", I agree.

Alberta Premier Ralph Klein was on The Queen one day and was kind enough to take his picture with me.

I love taking pictures and have taken numerous pictures of all the staff I have worked with.  I
decided to throw a page together with all the
Candid Memories of this season.

Portraits

This Portrait was done for Captain Henry Oakley.  I poured my heart and soul into this one. This portrait of the Captain was very
special to me for it went to someone who grew to mean a great deal to me. It is done of the Captains favorite
view on the river and shows him at the wheelhouse driving The Edmonton Queen Riverboat. Captain Oakley grew to be
like a father to me, anyone who had ever met this man can relate to how I feel.  Captain Oakley is retiring from the
Riverboat this year.  He will be sadly missed, best of  luck to you Captain, you will always be in my heart.

Connor and Remington
This portrait was done for good friends of mine actually my ex husband ( Remington is our son)
and Connor is Bill's fiancé, Sharon's son .  It was given to them as a Christmas gift.
Hope you like it

Captain Smith
This portrait was done for Charlie Smith, he was the Second Captain of the Edmonton Queen.
For those of you who have the pleasure of knowing him, know that he is one of a kind.
Charlie is someone I have the pleasure of calling a friend.  This was a special picture to do, because I know
he appreciates this and it will be in his family for years to enjoy.  Thank You Charlie for giving me the honor
of painting this picture for you.
